What's in the $3,000 brand and design sprint?
The brand and design sprint is a fixed-scope, fixed-price project: $3,000 for a brand refresh or full redesign plus 10 explorations of how that brand looks on your website and product. It's design only, so you leave with Figma files rather than a built site. The point is to settle what your brand is and prove it works on the screens your customers actually see.
Deliverable | What it covers | Format |
|---|---|---|
Brand direction | A refresh of what you have, or a full redesign | Agreed with you before detail work |
Logo | Wordmark, symbol or both, explored and refined | Figma, with the variants you need |
Color | Primary palette, supporting colors and usage | Figma styles |
Typography | Typefaces and a type scale for web and product | Figma styles |
10 explorations | Website and product screens using the new identity | Figma frames |
Handoff | Organized files ready for a developer | Figma file |
Anything outside that list, such as naming, packaging or a long written brand book, is scoped on the intro call. Our free brand guidelines template outlines the document many teams write after the sprint.
Do you need a brand refresh or a full rebrand?
Choose a refresh when people already recognize your name and logo and the problem is that the brand looks dated or inconsistent. Choose a full redesign when the brand no longer fits what you sell: after a pivot, a move upmarket, or when it was a placeholder made in an afternoon before launch. The sprint price is the same for both.
- Refresh: keep the equity you have. We tighten the logo, rebuild the palette and type, and make everything consistent.
- Full redesign: start from positioning. We explore new directions and choose one with you before refining it.
- Not sure: that's a normal place to start. We'll recommend one on the call, and our guide to brand refresh vs rebrand walks through the signs.
Why test a startup brand identity on the website and product?
Because a logo that looks good on a presentation slide can fall apart in a navigation bar, a dashboard table or an app icon. Sources on brand and design systems, including Blend and UXPin, agree that most brand guides don't settle how a brand behaves in a UI. The 10 explorations close that gap: you see the identity on a homepage hero, a pricing section and a product screen before you commit.
It also guards against the look-alike problem. Creative Bloq and The Drum have both covered how many AI companies have converged on the same gradient orbs and sparkle icons. Testing directions on real screens next to your competitors makes sameness obvious early, while it's still cheap to change.
How does the brand identity sprint work?
Free intro call
We talk through what you sell, who buys it, what's wrong with the current brand and what the brand has to support next.
Questionnaire and inputs
You answer a short set of questions, like those in our brand questionnaire template, and share anything existing.
Positioning in words
We write down what the brand should say and feel before drawing anything. Visual choices are judged against it.

We explore distinct directions for logo, color and type, and choose one with you.
Refine
We refine the chosen direction: logo variants, the full palette and a type scale for web and product.
Apply to 10 screens
We design 10 website and product explorations so you see the brand working where customers meet it.
Figma handoff
You get organized Figma files that a developer, or our team, can build from.
How much does startup brand identity design cost?
Startup brand identity design costs anywhere from a few hundred dollars to six figures, depending on how much strategy, how many deliverables and how senior a team you're paying for. These are typical ranges we see quoted in 2026 cost guides, and they vary widely.
Option | Typical quoted range | What you usually get |
|---|---|---|
Logo only | $100 to $2,000 | A mark and a few files, little system |
Freelance brand sprint | $249 to $2,300 | Workshop-style sprint, scope varies |
Starter identity | $500 to $5,000 | Logo, colors, fonts, a short guide |
Full identity system | $5,000 to $25,000 | System, guidelines, applications |
Agency brand sprint | About £10,000 over four weeks | Strategy plus identity |
Strategy-led agency | $25,000 to $200,000+ | Research, naming, full rollout |
Designify sprint | $3,000, fixed | Refresh or redesign plus 10 web and product screens |
Budget for rollout as well. One branding cost guide suggests adding 20% to 40% on top of the identity for applying it to the site, product, decks and collateral. Our brand identity design pricing guide breaks down what each tier buys.
Who is the brand sprint for, and who should look elsewhere?
The sprint is built for pre-seed to Series A startups that need a brand that looks credible to customers and investors without a months-long agency process. It also suits teams that already have product traction and a brand that hasn't kept up.
- A good fit: you're about to launch, raise or rebuild the website, and the brand needs to be ready first.
- A good fit: you want the identity designed by the same team that may later build the site, so nothing is lost in translation.
- Look elsewhere: you need naming, consumer research or a multi-market rollout. A strategy-led agency is built for that.
- Look elsewhere: you only need a quick logo for a side project. A logo-only freelancer is cheaper and fine for that job.
What happens after the brand identity sprint?
Most teams move straight into a build, because the 10 explorations already show the website direction. The landing page package at $6,000 turns one of those explorations into a live, animated Next.js page, and the website package at $8,000 covers up to six pages. You can also hand the Figma files to your own developers.

Which brand identities have we designed?
For ATQLeads, a GTM agency, we delivered a rebrand and a full website redesign, designed in Figma and built in Framer. For Wirefox VPN, we created a brand identity and designed the mobile app to communicate one idea: security and peace of mind. For Bridox, a marketing agency, the branded design carried through a complete Framer rebuild. In each case the identity was designed with the screens it would live on.
