How much does it cost to move a WordPress site to Webflow?
Moving a WordPress site to Webflow typically costs somewhere in the range agencies quote for migrations generally, which our research put at $1.5k to $25k depending on size. Where your site lands depends on unique templates, the number of posts to import, custom post types, plugins to replace and languages.
The range is wide because two WordPress sites with the same page count can be very different jobs. A twelve-page site with a clean blog is a small project; a twelve-page site with WooCommerce, three custom post types and WPML is not. What is the WordPress to Webflow migration cost by site size?
WordPress to Webflow migration cost scales with templates and content, so the bands below group sites by both. Treat them as a sanity check for quotes, not a budget; ranges vary by agency, region and how much design work is included.
Site size | Typical scope | Where quotes usually land |
|---|---|---|
Small | Up to about 6 unique templates, a blog with a few dozen posts, contact form | Lower end of the $1.5k–$25k range |
Medium | 10 to 20 templates, a blog with hundreds of posts, one or two extra CMS types | Middle of the range |
Large | Many templates, large blog, several custom post types, integrations | Upper end of the range |
Complex | WooCommerce, multilingual, membership or heavy custom functionality | Upper end and beyond, often scoped separately |
Reference: headless | WordPress to headless Next.js, for comparison | £13k–£30k and 6 to 12 weeks quoted |
Notice that post count moves cost less than template count. Fifty posts share one template, so their cost is in importing and cleaning content, not designing. A detailed list of templates and content types is the best way to get comparable quotes.
What drives the cost of a WordPress to Webflow migration?
Six things drive the cost of a WordPress to Webflow migration: unique templates, content volume and cleanliness, custom post types, ecommerce, multilingual setup and integrations. The first two set the baseline; the rest are multipliers.
- Unique templates. Each distinct layout is designed and built once in Webflow. This is usually the largest line in a quote.
- Content volume and quality. Clean Gutenberg posts import easily. Posts built with Elementor, Divi or shortcodes need manual cleanup, post by post.
- Custom post types and ACF fields. Each becomes a Webflow collection with its own fields, template and import, and references between them add work.
- WooCommerce. Products, variants, customers and orders are a different migration. Many stores are better off moving to Shopify; see WooCommerce to Shopify in our WordPress hub.
- Multilingual plugins. WPML or Polylang sites need every locale's content, URLs and hreflang mapped. Read moving WPML or Polylang sites before quoting.
- Integrations and plugins. Forms, CRM sync, memberships, search and popups each need a replacement and testing; see plugins you'll need to replace.
What's included in a migration quote, and what's often left out?
A complete quote includes design, build, CMS setup, content import, redirects, SEO metadata, form and integration setup, QA and launch support. The items most often left out are redirects, content cleanup and post-launch monitoring, which are the ones that protect traffic.
Line item | Usually included | Often extra or missing |
|---|---|---|
Design and build of templates | Yes | Rarely missing |
CMS collections and import | Basic import | Cleanup of page-builder and shortcode content |
Redirect map and setup | Sometimes | Often vague or missing |
SEO metadata and schema | Sometimes | Schema and canonicals |
Forms and CRM integration | Basic forms | CRM mapping and testing |
Post-launch monitoring | Rarely | Usually not quoted |
If a quote is much cheaper than the others, check this list first. Our SEO-safe WordPress to Webflow guide explains why the redirect work matters so much.
What does Designify charge for a WordPress to Webflow move?
Designify charges a fixed $8,000 for a website of up to six pages, plus $500 per extra page, with copywriting, custom design, a CMS and animation, built in Next.js. If you want to stay on Webflow specifically, that build is scoped on the intro call. We build in Webflow, Framer or Next.js, and we'll recommend the one that fits your team rather than defaulting to one.
- Website: up to 6 pages, custom design, CMS, animation
- $8,000
- Per extra page beyond six
- +$500
- Trial week before committing
- $1,000
We count designed pages, not CMS items, so a blog with hundreds of posts doesn't change the page count. Migration work such as content import and redirects is scoped on the intro call, and we include redirects and SEO checks in any migration we take on. See all packages on our pricing section.
Hypothetical example: pricing a 9-page WordPress site
For example, suppose a B2B services company runs WordPress with nine designed pages (home, three service pages, about, careers, contact, blog index and post template), around 150 blog posts and a case study custom post type.
Under our website package that's $8,000 for the first six pages plus $1,500 for three extra pages, so $9,500 for copy, design and a Next.js build. The case study collection, the blog import and cleanup, and the redirect map are scoped on the intro call, based on how clean the content is and how many URLs change.
If the same site ran WPML with two extra languages, localization would be scoped separately, because each locale adds content, URLs and QA.
What ongoing costs come after moving to Webflow?
After moving to Webflow you pay for a Webflow site plan, any Workspace seats you need, and third-party tools that replace WordPress plugins. In return, hosting, security and core updates are handled for you, which removes most WordPress maintenance costs.
Webflow changed its pricing several times recently: our research notes seat and bandwidth changes from late 2024 through 2025, and a May 2026 merge of its CMS and Business plans into a single Premium plan with a 20,000-item CMS limit. Check Webflow's current plan page for your item count and traffic. Our guide to Webflow website cost compares agency, freelancer and DIY options over time.
Is a cheaper AI migration a good alternative?
An AI-assisted migration can cut build time, but it doesn't remove the work that protects SEO: URL mapping, content decisions, redirects and QA. Use it to lower cost, not to skip steps.
Our research found the real cost of a code migration is still SEO and QA, not tokens. Our comparison of AI migration vs agency migration sets out cost, risk and quality side by side, and our guide to hiring a Webflow or Framer migration agency shows what to ask any provider. If you're also weighing Framer, see Webflow to Framer migration cost for how pricing compares.
